1 oz ruby red great fruit juice
1 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz lavender or rose syrup (can be home made)
1 cardamom pod
Gently crush the pod and a few of the seeds. You can toast it dry in a pan for a few minutes to intensify the flavor.
Add all ingredients into a shaker to thoroughly blend.
Garnish with a fresh rose petal.
If anyone knows me they know that I'm mad for rose or lavender flavored anything, so I figured to give something new a try. I do have to shop cardamom but the pic is a strawberry rose hibiscus tea.

It’s a little difficult to pick, I have a few cute little bakeries that I do enjoy, so it’s difficult to choose one. Eventually, I decided to go with Paul because it is a bit closer to get to and I have a photo to use for it. Paul is a patisserie down in the DC area where you can clearly see their baked goods are a bit divine. I haven't had everything on the menu yet because there is always a few new things available, the macarons are a staple dessert there though.

I like the idea of hosting a larger meet for a themed day like Princess day, all the little details would and should be delightful.
Having princess themed coords would be highly suggest, finally finding a reason to suggest scepters, crowns, veils, and escharpes, a great time for OTT goodness. For cute little favor ideas there could be cute little scepters to have out for people to take, being made in golds, silvers, and copper colors to fit all styles.
A banquet style event would be really neat to host for such an auspicious occasion and at the end being able to dance the eve away, much like a princess. I figured something a little more hearty then a tea would be appropriate for such an occasion, despite my desire to do tea parties for everything. If the venue were a bit on the opulent side I wouldn't mind that either.
The last bit I suppose would be a bit silly but cute to do would be to have someone who voluntarily dresses ouji for the event announce a princess, maybe several oujis for several princesses. It can be voted on by categories like Rose Princess, Sweets Princess, and Gothic Princess, silly titles that could be announced before hand and maybe attendees can vote. I know many may think it's a bit too much but we are talking about indulgent things. Each princess could be given small gifts like one would for a coord contest and then the dancing could commence!
While the dancing is going on a photo booth would be available in the corner for people to get their pictures taken. It could be set to have a decked out chair draped to look like a throne, a box of props available with crowns, scepters, capes, and other princess~y things. It would be a neat little thing to do that I think a lot of people will like. And to quell an unnecessary line people can write down their names in a book crafted to look like an old tome or a long scroll of parchment.
At the end of the event it would be lovely to take a group picture with everyone, before the night is out, and people are too tired from dancing. When people start to leave they can pick up little party favors with an assortment of princess and prince themed things, just a little something that I would hope people would enjoy.
I may have gotten a little carried away with this idea and I don't know if I'd ever follow through with it but a big event like this would be rather lovely to have. Something that would make frillies hearts flutter and feel a little more like a princess. What would you do for a Princess Day meet?
